Nov kit - Paper Piercing - Grade 12 graduation

I did paper piercing on the back of the cardstock, then sanded the front paper pierced area. Sanding enlarges the pierced holes and brings out the core color in the cardstock. I then gently rubbed on some grey chalk along the design to give it a subtle shadow. This really brings out the paper piercing and draws more attention to it. Sanded down the grey core-dination cardstock piece used as matting on the left of the middle photo and inked the edges in black.
