NORWICH - Annie Layte - Funny Faces
Submitted by annie on November 19, 2008 - 16:36.I enjoyed experimenting with different ways to bring texture and pattern to the plain monochrome cardstock - dry embossing, inking, crumpling and then sanding back to reveal the inner core of the cardstock. The title was stamped then cut out, mounted on contrast card, inked and attached to the layout with foam pads.
NORWICH - Annie Layte - Family
Submitted by annie on November 19, 2008 - 16:27.Coredinations cardstock in "nightfall" was dry embossed using just the stencil and tools in the kit - I was amazed it worked so well without a light box or anything. The design was then sanded back to reveal the inner core of the cardstock and bring out the pattern. The lighter colour was stamped and then sanded back to create the effect of old fabric.

FRIENDS across the sea - Annie Layte, Norwich
Submitted by annie on September 16, 2008 - 20:05.This layout shows me and my new Scrap Pal Deborah who lives in Canada.
The colour scheme is monochrome, using Coredinations cardstock which is torn, crumpled and sanded; the acetate frame and vinyl letters are coloured with alcohol inks; the sea is highlighted with beading, stitching and swirl stamps; the fish are inked grungeboard; the photo corner was made with a fragment; glossy accents have been used on the lower part of the title.
I think that makes 9 techniques - PHEW!!!
