A try at a distressed page. See the story on my page 2.

As the green paper had a distressed look I decided to try an appropriate style.
This is completely alien to my normal style. I see this as a story.

On this lo I made some 'flowers' by cutting circles with some Dovecraft creative scissors (bubbles), inking the edges, then adding a button in the centre. I sewed the button in place before attaching it to the lo with foam tape. The word 'First' is the first word in a double layout called 'First Love'.

This is the third lo I made using this kit. There is a good selection of different buttons in the kit to choose from. I chose two big and two small buttons of the same colour on this layout. The title is made up of a felt 'a' and the remainder of the title are rub-ons.

The flowers on the LO are Stampin Up from the Vintage Vogue collection stamped onto the patterned paper using different coloured ink and the thread is Stampin Up linen thread. The f is from the same collection as is the leaf border at the top, bottom and side of paper.
Wasn't very creative with the buttons but loads left over as well as c/stock and p paper!

Used the lace to border the corner of the mounting and two layers to make a flower after inking the lace. Ribbon indicates hidden journalling. As the lace lent itself to something soft and feminine I tried to step out of my normal style and create a shabby page.
