I am a newbie having now completed two 8 x 8 scrapbooks. I found it very difficult to come up with layout ideas as most on line are for 12x12 pages which dont scale down very well when using a 6 x 4 photo even when cropped. Where can I find imaginative ideas for this size?

Personally i find the 8x8 size much easier to deal with than 6x6 where room really is limited and everything seems to swamp the tiny page.
Try using sketches as a jumping off point, but really the only way to do an 8x8 page is to
* scale down 12x12 ideas you like to approximately 2/3 size
* use smaller (or cropped) photo(s) no bigger than 6x4
* use smaller titles - small BG alphabet stickers are just the right size for this size page.
* scale back on the embellishments - you need less on a smaller space.
